MIM Movie Review

   Pelican Brief, The (1994)

   John Grisham action movie sort of portrays the government as corrupt,
   with a puppet-fool president. Plus, big corporations conspire with the
   government to make a profit at the expense of the environment. But the
   FBI and CIA, along with the mainstream press, turn out to help the
   people and environment. Big on individualism, the movie asks people
   to walk away thinking the government is stupid and can be defeated
   by smart individuals.
