This is an archive of the former website of the Maoist Internationalist Movement, which was run by the now defunct Maoist Internationalist Party - Amerika. The MIM now consists of many independent cells, many of which have their own indendendent organs both online and off.    Patriot Games (1992)

   Our least favorite movie of 1992's summer. A former CIA agent
   kills a member of a (supposedly Maoist) splinter group of the Irish
   Republican Army. In this ficticious portrayal the IRA and its supposed
   splinter group are both clearly off the deep end.  The killing spurs
   an irrational revenge plot of the group, and a chance to glorify
   the perfect family-man CIA agent played by Harrison Ford. In the
   post-Cold War, one of the leading spy movies about personal vendattas
   and family, as if imperialism didn't need murderous agents of the
   old school anymore.
