This is an archive of the former website of the Maoist Internationalist Movement, which was run by the now defunct Maoist Internationalist Party - Amerika. The MIM now consists of many independent cells, many of which have their own indendendent organs both online and off. I'm the One That I Want (2000) - Stand-up comedy by Margaret Cho (?), who
mostly exposes the anti-Asian racism of Hollywood and Amerikan culture. The
story she tells revolves around her experience as the star of the first
Amerikan sitcom about Asians. They made her lose weight to play the part of
herself, and tried to get her to act more "Asian" according to racist
stereotypes. Good exposure of racism, and very funny.
