MIM Movie Review

This is an archive of the former website of the Maoist Internationalist Movement, which was run by the now defunct Maoist Internationalist Party - Amerika. The MIM now consists of many independent cells, many of which have their own indendendent organs both online and off. MIM(Prisons) serves these documents as a service to and reference for the anti-imperialist movement worldwide.

   Bullworth (1998)

   White boy saves the day, gets martyred. Senator Bullworth is
   disillusioned with his sell-out politics, so he pays an assassin
   to kill him so his family can collect insurance money. In the
   "breakdown" that follows, he speaks honestly about the corrupt
   self-serving politics of the Democratic party, falls in love with a
   Black woman who talks nationalist political economy to him. In his
   "truth" sessions, though, Bullworth also flatters whites by telling
   them they are oppressed. Some good lines, and a good anti-Amerikan rap
   (not Bullworth's) soundtrack.
