African Revolutionary Action Movement
liberate_africa2002@yahoo.com
405 N. Salford St.
Philadelphia PA 19151
Self-description: "The African Revolutionary Action Movement (ARAM) is an organization dedicated to the liberation of African people throughout the world. We believe that African people dispersed throughout the world are a single nation of people--one billion strong--who share a common cultural identity and a common historical destiny which has its basis in the emergence of African civilization more than 10,000 years ago and has been given a revolutionary impulse by the past 500 years of slavery, colonialism and imperialist domination by Europe and the U.S."
Comments: Read our review of ARAM's "International African Militant" newspaper
All-African People's
Revolutionary Party
A-APRP
Box 3307
Washington DC 20009
Self-Description: Pan-Africanist, Nkrumahist, internationalist; upholds
"scientific socialism."
Comments: Not Leninist and not very scientific. Believes in "unity
of religion and revolution." Supports all sorts of revisionist and
capitulationist groupings like the Communist Party of Cuba and the Palestine
Liberation Organization.
Since the death of Stokely Carmichael (Kwame Toure) in 1998, MIM has not heard from the A-APRP and its old web site appears defunct. If this is not true, we certainly welcome greetings or polemics from the organization which we will put up on our web pages.
One site to note is: http://members.aol.com/aaprp/index2.html
In a similar spirit, there are several Pan-Africanist web sites flourishing. One is http://www.pond.com/~zizwe/strategy/strategy.htm
