This is an archive of the former website of the Maoist Internationalist Movement, which was run by the now defunct Maoist Internationalist Party - Amerika. The MIM now consists of many independent cells, many of which have their own indendendent organs both online and off. MIM(Prisons) serves these documents as a service to and reference for the anti-imperialist movement worldwide.

Resolution on language concerning the United $tates
In the name of making the language of national liberation both clear and
popular with the masses, MIM will no longer refer to the United States as
a geographic entity without delegitimizing this state at the
same time.
A few suggested names follow, but this vote will not restrict the
possibilities for derogatory terminology. The masses have already
provided us with much of the terminology we adopt here, and MIM has
every confidence that once we cease to legitimize the U.S. state ourselves,
the masses and MIM will only become more creative in developing a
language of national libration for the current U.S. territories.
