The World Economic Forum has turned into a focal point for criticism of the United $tates and its client state I$rael. The criticism being leveled, even by members of the elite bourgeois ruling class such as Bill Gate$(1) and Hillary Clinton (2) and SuperSpy Zbigniew Brzezinski,(3) while true, also rings hollow. For these are among the very people who profit most from monopoly capitalism and imperialism. Without trying to analyze who and how various people are trying to destabilize the ruling elite it is clear that the World Economic Forum, along with the Enron debacle is being used as an issue to destabilize the Bu$h regime. Bu$h has enacted draconian laws, even by bourgeois standards; his family relations traded with the Nazis during World War II(4)-- as did companies like IBM(5) Ford(6) and the Aluminum Company of America (Alcoa).(7)
It should come as no surprise that the elites who now are ready to bicker over the spoils of Enron play the card of compassion while stabbing the Third World in the back. Thus it is that the German press reports that the United $tates is already preparing for its next third world war, Oil War II; the final showdown will soon be playing on your TV as we see Sadaam ruthlessly blasted -- and are blinded by censorship which keeps us from seeing the dead babies which are the product of mass aerial bombardment.(8) We should also be unsurprised that the hard line fascists like Le Pen are undeterred by the Third world and unswayed by the pathetic hypocrisy of billionaires like Gate$ and thus continue to blame the Third World immigrants for the First World's problems.(9)
We can sort through a lot of this bullshit by comparing actions and words. The other day W.H. Gates gave 50 million bucks to the Third World to fight HIV -- a drop in the bucket alongside the $379 BILLION U.$. "defense" budget.(10) Considering that Gate´s profits from prison labor in Amerika and invests in arms industries(12) he still has a long way to go. If the glitterati were really interested in helping the Third World they would question the very institutions which have made them super wealthy -- which is one more reason why the system cannot change from within. Only by organizing resistance and building popular opinion to oppose greed and war will it be possible to end capitalism, an economic system which poisons the planet and kills people in wars for profit.
