CNN television broadcaster Cafferty just made a startling observation in the evening news. He reported that Bush reached a new low in the CNN poll, with a 30% approval rating and then he reported the 22% rating of Congress, which he said the public rightly "loves to hate." Even better he said in other countries the government would be overthrown, but in the united $tates, in all likelihood, people will go to the voting booth in November and choose a party they do not like much. So it is that despite extensive effort, a campaign with liberal slogans to drive out Bush only garnered four digit support in a country of 300 million.
The truth about U.$. politics is that there is no umph there. If the masses want to exert an influence on the u$a, then they need to break off the bourgeois white nationalist encirclement of the proletarian camp.
Marx says that the masses get "the leaders they deserve." Usually they learn about 50 years after someone has been assassinated. MIM prefers to tell the masses right now, so that they can get some feedback--that they are in danger of losing proletarian leadership.
On February 10th, we will check if the RCP CC, Avakian and Ely made public self-criticism for white chauvinism and CIA lackeyism against MIM. Barring that, we will check if the Russian imperialists decided to make an admission about how Avakian, Ely & Co. have recycled their covert operations against MIM. If the masses did not succeed in breaking the encirclement of MIM either via the Russians or the RCP=CIA directly, then MIM will cease offensive operations.
The masses have to be told the terms of leaders' services, so that the masses can improve their own activities. Those are our terms. A week after the 10th, we will cease defensive political operations if the counterrevolutionary impasse is still not resolved. After all, MIM could certainly be wrong about the existence of masses, just like all the Menshevik fruitflies always say.
MIM's two challenges are not for Amerikans. They are for Amerikkkans of the RCP=CIA and the Russian imperialists. Since the RCP=CIA could go public and make some admissions, primary blame will go on them. Secondarily, blame will go on the Russian imperialists, but after all, we know they went with Khruschev and Gorbachev before, so we won't be too surprised by failure on that point either.
MIM is encapsulated by the U.$. state and has other enemies in the world allied with the U.$. state. If we cannot get any breathing room from people in contact with RCP=CIA or pressuring the Russian imperialists, then it would be irresponsible for MIM to say it really stands on its own two feet. There is not that kind of force within U.$. borders. It is the masses who must eliminate at least some threats to the leaders so that they can know what is going on in their own struggles.
Related to this is a last word on the FISA matter before Congress now. The idea that a FISA court can approve surveillance that does not risk the security of its target or interrupt the target's work is ridiculous. Once a persyn's privacy is violated and that perysn placed into the spy system, the persyn becomes subject to all the intelligence services, because they penetrate each other. Perhaps the politicians won't admit that, but it is common knowledge among spies. This is an additional reason why the masses need to unite in such a way as to make sure that as many threats to their leaders are eliminated as possible.
MIM has a very aggressive global offensive planned for this year, but it is possible that the labor bureaucratic leaders and coordinated action by the imperialists can eliminate our freedom of operation in the united $tates. MIM hereby warns the masses not to let it happen, not to waste the possibilities of this moment in history. We have warned again and again that there is a cost for lack of discernment. The masses will obtain the leaders that they deserve this month, with no further delay.
