We do not raise any objection to advertisers just because they do not want to accept MIM ads. Within bourgeois Liberal logic, the media should be able to choose who they associate with and that is a matter of opinion which MIM respects as a matter of consistency in the current bourgeois society.
On the other hand, MIM does object when the government advertises with a company that does not allow MIM ads. Taxpayer money is not supposed to go to the government so that the government can lobby the public. Tax money should not go to publications supporting Bush, just because Bush is running the government. Likewise, tax money should not go to publications that reject ads on a political basis. Hence, MIM lists here those media that refuse MIM ads but do take government money. Ad-sellers should not try to have it both ways: reserving the right to reject political ads while accepting government ads. Either the media in question is open to public political use or it is not and has no business taking government money.
