There is another attempt afoot to form a discussion group for MIM line. The reason that it has to be unofficial is my fault.
In various ways, I attempted to form a discussion group, but after a few weeks of concentrated efforts, I was not able to manage a technologically superior discussion group at the level we wanted. At the same time, people were wasting their time debating neo-Nazis and crypto-Trotskyists, because there was no space for Marxism-Leninism-Maoism in the imperialist countries. This became my fault too.
Aside from the technical problem, we say the group is unofficial for the simple reason that not enough has happened yet that we can judge politically. So far it's off to a good start.
People should learn security before they attempt to join this discussion group. Click here.
Comrades should assume they have been infiltrated by FBI and military intelligence when they participate on the board. So they should be careful. People should not expose their email addresses or use instant messaging as they present security problems that the enemy will utilize and has utilized in the past.
Although even in his discussion of "infantile disorders" Lenin said we need not prioritize work among the petty-bourgeoisie, we should recall that it is our duty to learn how to struggle everywhere. It's unfortunate that we were not able to provide the high level security we wanted in a new discussion board, so we are reduced to "learn to fight by fighting," which is Mao's way of saying people train in practice. Hopefully from participating in the struggle, people will learn to go beyond the practice there is now. Comrades running the board should look to the future in terms of what it would take to surpass current security practices. It means thinking in terms of allocating comrade effort toward infrastructural work, not just public opinion or theory.
I have been told that neo-Nazis and crypto-Trotskyists are banned--unless they make self-criticism of course. That's good, because it's bad enough to debate with police infiltrators, never mind combining problems from social-fascism. The quality of conversation goes down too far. There's been a lot of debate among MIM defenders, crypto-Trotskyists and neo-Nazis already. Comrades may want to keep in mind it may take till fall to really attract much traffic. The summer won't affect the most serious comrades using the summer to study, but many others take their minds off anything serious at this time of year. Summer is a good time to undertake long study projects, long and complicated political projects and exercise.
